Update – June 2020

As we move through the uncertainty and challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to share an update on the current situation and the impact this has had on some of our bigger events:

London to Paris – Tour de France
To tie in with the changed dates of the Tour de France, this event has been postponed from July to 16 – 20 September 2020. At present, this event remains scheduled to go ahead as planned.

Following recent advice from Government in both the U.K. and France, we remain hopeful that lockdowns and restrictions on travel will have eased sufficiently for the ride to go ahead. With the health & safety of our staff and participants our priority, we will continue to monitor this constantly evolving situation and will be complying with all advice in relation to travel, outdoor events and mass gatherings, and will continue to keep all participants updated by email.

London to Amsterdam
We have made the difficult decision to postpone this event until June 2021. All participants have been contacted.

London to Brighton Cycle Ride – 13th September
The event remains scheduled to go ahead as planned, and we are very hopeful restrictions will be lifted sufficiently in order for this to take place. A more detailed update is available on the London to Brighton website.

Skydiving – Nationwide
All of the airfields we work with have temporarily paused skydiving activities until the end of June. As skydiving is neither a mass participation event or mass gathering, we are hoping to resume our national programme soon. Bookings from 1 July 2020, currently remain scheduled to go ahead as planned. However, we are currently awaiting advice from the Government in relation to when we can start jumping again and any measures that need to be implemented. All customers from July onwards will be contacted and updated about the status of their skydive soon.

Safety First

It goes without saying that the safety of our customers and employees is our priority and we will follow all advice from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) regarding travel overseas as well as UK Government advice on mass gatherings for events in the UK, as well as that of the various Governing bodies involved (e.g. British Cycling & British Skydiving). We will only operate events if it is safe to do so, and will put measures in place to improve health & safety and enable participants to follow social distancing recommendations as and where required.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If we have to postpone your event then you will be offered a revised date. If you’re unable to take part on that revised date we will work with you to offer you a suitable alternative or date in the future.

If you cancel your event because you don’t want to travel then our terms and conditions will apply:

  • No refund of the booking deposit will be given – but you can transfer to a later date for free
  • Refunds of any tour costs for an overseas event will be given according to the percentages in our terms and conditions, the scale of the refund you get will depend on how far in advance you cancel.

Coronavirus is clearly an extremely challenging situation for everybody, but particularly so for small travel companies who are having to run their businesses with little or no income! So if we are forced to cancel an event please do everything you can to help us by transferring to a future date instead of cancelling. This virus WILL pass and we’d be delighted to provide you with the event you booked on a future date.
